Language and Communications links all of the organizations in the Group by creating uniform language and design, and is responsible for creating, formulating and assimilating the Group's vision and values.

The missions of Language and Communications include: activity aimed at realizing the vision ofthe Group and its owner and chairperson, Shari Arison; instilling an ethical code and principles of sustainabilityin the business and philanthropic activity; managing a group- wide human resources array that responds to all of the employees in the various private organizations. In addition, Language and Communications includes positioning the Group's image in the media -including press releases, press conferences, and various spokesmanship initiatives in the Group and in the business and philanthropic companies.

Another important dimension ofthe activity is expressed in the Marcom services, including: positioning, advertising and branding, managing marketing and advertising campaigns, managing the Group's Websites and producing advertising materials,

Established in 1981 in Miami by the late Ted Arison, the Ted Arison Family Foundation launched its activities in Israel in 1993, under the management of Shari Arison. The foundation is privately run and does not raise funds from external sources. Each year it contributes to various projects and to hundreds of nonprofits and other organizations that operate in seven key spheres: health; education; children and youth; culture, art and sports; populations in distress; disabilities; scholarships and research.

At the Ted Arison Family Foundation, we regard the ability to give as a major privilege and responsibility. We are listen to the needs of the community and are committed to giving with attentiveness to these needs. The foundation’s worldview is rooted in three Jewish values: charity, acts of loving kindness and Tikkun Olam (transformation of the world). We take responsibility by acting as a role model, by creating a better human environment based on fundamental human values, by investing in improving the quality of life, and by developing public infrastructures and programs based on the commitment to excellence. We cultivate generosity, tolerance and involvement; from our aspiration to generate meaningful change we promote transformation of the social environment.

The foundation has adopted Ruach Tova (Good Spirit in Hebrew), Israel's leading provider of access to information about volunteerism, which operates today as part of the Arison Group. Ruach Tova serves as the address for any person or organization that wants to volunteer. Connecting them with a place to volunteer.

The foundation's first vision venture in Israel was the establishment of Matan - Investing in the Community, an organization that encourages businesses and workers to give to the community Jason Arison, the foundation's Chairman and CEO, currently serves on Matan's board of directors.

In addition to monetary donations, the Ted Arison Family Foundation is involved in two vision ventures that promote social transformation: Essence of Life, which heightens awareness and gives tools for inner peace; and All One. an organization whose purpose is to generate a global conversation of a new reality whose message can be summed up as "We are all connected. We are all part of one".

Our purpose is to act as an address for any person or organization interested in volunteering and giving, as well as for any person or entity in need of assistance. Encouraging the spirit of volunteerism in Israel takes the form of offering readily available and accessible information on volunteerism, as well as matching and connecting people who want to volunteer- according to their skills and abilities - with volunteer organizations, public bodies and people in need of assistance throughout the country. The databases that Ruach Tova makes available for public use contain more than 4,000 projects covering a wide range of topics. Volunteers can register via the Internet and a telephone call center; this includes volunteers from abroad, who are placed with volunteer organizations in Israel.

Ruach Tova's annual flagship project is Good Deeds Day, which was established in 2007 asking each person to do a good deed for their fellow human beings. This annual event whose aim is to introduce the public to volunteer activities, with the goal of instilling the spirit of volunteerism and getting people to volunteer on a regular basis.

Our purpose is to generate a global conversation of a new reality whose message can be summed up as: We are all connected. We are all part of one and we are all responsible for one another. Our mission is to think and to act with the understanding that we are all part of one, everywhere on the face ofthe earth. We promote the message that thinking and acting "as one" is an existential matter for all of us.

We encourage people to think and act for the sake of unity, and foster discourse by means of lectures, conferences and meetings with opinion makers and a wide-ranging audience in Israel and the world.

"In order to achieve world peace, every one of us has to attain peace within himself and with his surroundings".
Shari Arison

Our calling is world peace and our purpose is returning humanity to its essence.

Our activities in Israel and the world are aimed at arousing awareness of the ability of each of us to create inner peace by looking inward and listening to ourselves.

Underlying this idea is the concept that we are all human beings and souls. We are all endowed with identical human qualities: love, compassion, serenity, purity, happiness, truth, light, strength, knowledge and more. If we learn to accept, give, respect one another, listen, communicate in a positive way and act with compassion, love and an open heart, we will be able to contribute to the creation of a more balanced, harmonious and effective society.

Our concept is broad and holistic, enabling each person to choose the most appropriate path for himself and, through awareness, get to know his inner world. Our activities are tailored to suit various communities and sectors, including the public, business, philanthropic and private sectors.

As part of the implementation of its vision, Arison Investments in 2006 initiated the establishment of Miya. Miya's mission is to assist municipalities throughout the world benefit from the huge opportunity presented by effective management of their water distribution system. Miya offers a comprehensive solution for effective urban water management, with an emphasis on Non Revenue Water (NRW) reduction. NRW is the gap between the amount of water put into the distribution system and the amount of water for which customers are actually billed. High levels of NRW reflect huge volume of water being lost.

In an era characterized by global warming and advanced urbanization processes, water is an expensive and vital. Nonetheless, over a third of the drinking water supplied in the world is lost in urban distribution systems. This means that millions of cubic meters of clean water are lost every day. Over the course of a year, this translates into an economic loss of some $18 billion. In many developing countries, the rate of NRW is over 30% of the supplied water - and in extreme cases it can reach even 80%. Reducing this enormous NRW levels is extremely vital. It would yield significant savings in precious drinking water, improve the economic situation of municipalities, reduce the level of water contamination save energy used for pumping, delivery and treatment of alternative water sources and benefit the environment.
